Shi Xing Cang (Valter Carboni ), born in Italy in 1964 , began studying martial arts at the age of 18.
In his long martial arts journey Valter studied various Chinese styles in Europe and China and devoted himself exclusively to the discipline of Shaolin which deepened through study and tours of the monastery.
Disciple of Grand Master Shi De Yang, Valter Carboni became a 32nd generation secular monk and was given the monastic name Shi Xing Cang. A traditional ceremony in the Shaolin Temple was performed to honour this ocassion.
Co-founder of Shaolin Wuseng Houbeidui, Shifu Xing Cang has also spent more than two decades as a distinguished student of Dharma Buddhist masters in China and India.
